To the Victoria Jewish community, Vancouver extends on this Passover season its warmest greetings. We have always been cognizant of a mutual bond between the two Jewish communities on the coast of Northwestern Canada. We are proud, with native Victorians, of their long>established Jewish community, of their synagogue, one of the oldest on the coast, of their active B'nai B'rith Lodge, of their Zionist activities, and above all, of the continuous and warm-hearted response to all Jewish causes. We feel that the work accomplished in the Victoria community is out of all proportion to its numerical size, and we feel, at this time, very happy that the Jewish Western Bulletin has servedt as an outlet for Victoria items and a meeting-place for the two communities.

She mastered the classical music of Tchaikovsky and Rimski-Korsakov with wonderful ability, and the public accorded her a tremendous ovation.
