Victoria Community Honored By Distinguished Visitors ^
Victoria Community had the pleasure of welcoming Rabbi 2Iot-nik, Rabbi M. N. Pastinsky and Mr. Max Charkow last week.
To a large and impressive audience Rabbi Zlotnik gave a most inspiring address which was greatly appreciated by his audience. His message was based on unity and goodwill in a community, stressing the essential need of these in trying times. Spiritual education among our youth was cited as a necessity that will uphold the Judaism of tomorrow.
The speaker was introduced by the President of the B'nai B'rith Brother M. L, Green.
At the conclusion of his talk, Mrs. Joseph Rose tendered Rabbi Zlotnik a hearty vote of thanks on behalf of the Community.
The assembly adjourned to the vestry where, at the banquet table, Rabbi Pastinsky addressed the gathering, also Mr. Max Charkow and Rabbi Berner made suitable comments.
