CAPT.S.GERSHOKLEVi JEWISH CHAPLAIN VISITS B.G.
Captain S. Gershon Levi, Jewish Chaplain for His Majesty's Canadian Forces, spent several days last week visiting various army camps in Military District 11, which comprises British Columbia.
While in Vancouver Captain Levi acquainted himself with the various services rendered by the Vancouver Jewish Community and its groups to the different branches of the RCA and BCAP. Rabbi Levi sought out, insofar as he was able, all the Jewish members of the armed forces in this district.
At the special Reconsecratlon Services held by the troops in Nanaimo, Rabbi Levi addressed the soldiers on parade.
