To meet critical housing and other absorption needs in Israel and to bring vital aid services to 535,000 Jews In Israel and in 24 other countries, the United Jewish Appeal seeks to raise Its regular budgetary goal of $102,031,800 in 1958 as its overall goal. In addition a $100,000,000 Rescue Fund is needed for the transportation and initial resettlement of 80,000 newcomers who must be helped to reach Israel, the U.S. and other democratic lands.

Payments for tickets to Victoria should be sent to the Jewish Centenary Committee at 2675 Oak Street, In the event that the boat strike is not ended by June 15, the Victoria program will have to be postponed. Any decision of this nature will be announced in the Bulletin in sufficient time but in the meantime reservations may be sent in.
ISRAEL ISSUES SPECIAL TENTH ANNIVERSARY SOUVENIRS
