Yvonne Firkins of local theatrical fame is directing a cast of nine talented Hadassah actresses in a take-off on the' famous stage play "My Fair Lady".
All contributions at the Sacrifice Luncheon go to the new Port Hospi-talj being built by Canadiin- Hadassah "^t Eilat. Vancouver's share is $3,000 to be raised through the sale of bricks.
A $5.00 book of 5 t>ricks admits bhe to the luncheon, or $2i60 and thei purchase of one brick at $1.00 is also the admittance..

Dr. Riegner was addressing a press conference following a two-day meeting of tlie Congress European Executive.
Emergent Arab nationalism m North Africa had confronted Jews in that region with new problems, particularly in the -economic sphere. But earlier apprehensions regarding the safety of Jews in Morocco and Tunisia fiad proved unfounded and the nationalist leaders, after achieving independence, had kept promises and assurances^ made before assuming power and observed the principles of the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights.
It should be realized that this is he-first time in the history of Jewr ish communities, of Morocco, and Tunisia that equality has been achieved,' Dr. Riegner stressed. Jews were now occupying important positions in Government and administration. As to the future, the Jewish position would depend on whether moderate or extremist elements prevailed which, in turn, would be influenced by objective political conditions in the world.
As to freedom of emigration, tiiere had been ilo difficulty in Ttinisia, but in Morocco, where Arab pressure wjas stronger, obstacles still had to be overcome and Congress was continuing its
