Visitors to Israel can now view a Hebrew Television News program, while hearing a simultaneous English translation,
"Mabat," the Hebrew name of the hews program, is presented at 9 p.m. each day. By the end of 1989, visitors will be able to tune into Israel radio station Kol Israel (Voice of Israel), Station ^'A" and7hear Israelis' news in English, at the
same time, viewing the television news program.
The decision to provide this service was made by Is-; rael.'s Minister of Tourism, Gideon Patt; the;Ministry director general Avi Rosenthal. IsraePs Broadcasting Authority and "the radio-director; "This special service represents further: improvement in tourism services in Israel . . :" patt said.

Spectacular sea life gathered from far and near regions of the Pacific Ocean is currently on display at the . Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey. The exhibit, called "Discover Living Treasures of the Pacific" and mounted in late October in conjunction with the ; aquarium's fifth anniversary celebrat,ipn, runs through Sept. 3. 1990. .
Migrating Monarch butterflies have established temporary residency in Pacific Grove again this year. The butterflies, which find winter refuge in some local trees, will be on \jiew until March 1990.
Highway \, the usual route into the Monterey Peninsula from the north, detours at Watsonville. The best xoute.presently is Highway ,101 to Highway 156 (at Prunedale) or Highway 68: (at Salinas). Both Of these roads connect with Highway 1 South. , San Francisco
