IRISH WEEK VIGIL OF REMEMBRANCE
This day is listed as the World Day of Prayer and it seems appropriate for us to remember and give thanks and be supportive, especially to those members of the Irish community who have been bereaved this past year. This interdenominational prayer service will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 2702 Broadway East, Seattle (Roanoke exit off 1-5) at 8 PM on Friday, March 6. All are invited to participate. St. Patrick's Night Ball for members and guests will be held at Eagles Hall, 6205 Corson Avenue S., with dancing from 9 PM until 1 AM to the Noel Henry Irish Showband direct from Boston for Irish week 1992. The Seattle-Galway Sister City Association along with the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle, invites members of the business community to a breakfast meeting on Friday, March 13 from 7:30-9 AM at the Seattle Chamber of Commerce Boardroom, ground floor, 600 University Street (1 Union Square), Seattle to hear Francis Gaudette, Vice-President of Microsoft Corporation, speakabout "The How, Where and Why" of Microsoft's Dublin, Ireland, operation.
Other speakers will include the new Irish Consul General in San Francisco, the Honourable Declan Kelly; trie Mayor of Galway, Ireland, Alderman Michael Leahy, and the Mayor of Sligo, Ireland, Councillor, Sean McManus. Breakfast of coffee and rolls at $10

PROCLAMATION LUNCHEON
The public is invited to the 21st Annual Irish Week Proclamation Luncheon being held on Friday, March 13, at F.X. McRory's, Occidental and S. King Streets, Seattle. At 12 noon "Irish Week 1992" proclamations will be issued by the State, City and County.
Special guests will include Irish Consul General Declan Kelly; the Mayor of Galway, Michael Leahy; theMayorof Sligo, SeanMcManus; Seattle Mayor Norm Rice, King County Executive Tim Hill, St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshall Francis Gaudette, the Honorary Grand Marshals John and Mary Jo Costello, and other local politicians and dignitaries.
