Beth Yehuda-Shaare Tefillah Synagogue presented the Jewish Congregation of St. Martin with three Torah Scrolls. The Torah Scrolls are the Five -Books of Moses, written on parchment with a quill of Hebrew script, and read every Sabbath in the Synagogue. Cecil Labow was chairman. Dr. Chaim N. Denburg, Rabbi, spoke. R. Brettschneider, president, made the presentation? Philip "Faiher and A. Katz participated. At the Jewish Congregation of St. Martin acceptance ceremony, A. Kirmayer, president of the Men's Club, presided. Rabbi S. Spiro and A. Rabinovitch, president, participated. Alderman M. F. Mooney, of St. Martin, represented the administration. Mrs. S. Spec tor, president of the Sisterhood, spoke. A motorcade carried the Torah Scrolls, to _1859 Romiti� Street^ temporary quarters of the Jewish Congregation of St. Martin which expects to build this year.
