Mr. and Mrs. S. Kleinhandler, of Bronx, N. Y., will be here for the marriage of Miss Evelyn Seidman, daughter of Mrs. Rose Seidman, 4729 La Peltrie Street, and the late Abe Seidman, to their son, Jay L. Kleinhandler, on December 25, at 1215 Van Home Avenue.
Here for the funeral of Mrs. Gertrude Petinsky Barkin, 4725 Bourret Avenue, who died on. Mrs. Hyman Osman, 6035 Mountain Sights Avenue, entertained seventy-five guests at, a luncheon in honour of her daughter, Miss Anita Osman, fiancee of Bernard Purzak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Purzak, 4952 La Peltrie Street. Miss Osman is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Osman, 5890 Mountain Sights Avenue; and of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rothstein, 801 Wiseman Avenue. Mr. Purzak is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. I. Purzak, of Brooklyn, N. Y. Mrs. Osman was in a mauve sheath, made with a scooped heck-line; and short sleeves. Mrs. Purzak was in a white brocaded sheath, cut with a square neckline; and short sleeves. Miss Osman wore a mauve lace dress, made with its own jacket; and full skirt; and had a corsage of white carnations. The table was trimmed with an arrangement of white and red roses and carnations. The marriage will take place on June 11, 1961, at Beth El Synagogue.
