Mr. and Mrs. A. Fox, 7280 Quer-bes Avenue, celebrated the bar-mitzvah of their son, Seymour, who was called to the Reading of the Law, at Congregation Solomon. He is the brother of Allan, aged eight years; grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. Schneider; and of Joseph Fox, of Montreal, and the late Mrs. Annie Fox. Kiddush was observed. The following day Mr. and Mrs. Fox were hosts to eighty guests at a luncheon at Hem Hall. Mrs. Fox was in a beige, silk sheath, which had a lace bodice; and her corsage was of purple orchids. Seated at the head table with the family were: Mr. and Mrs. I. Kashner, and Mr. and Mrs. D. Leibovitch. The bar-mitz-vah boy spoke. The table was arranged with a blue and white bar-mitzvah cake and centerpieces of red, white, and blue carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kastner, and Patricia and Sharon, of Greenwood, N. S., were here for the occasion.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bdelberg, 3025 Linton Avenue, celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary. They have four sons and daughters-in-law: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edelberg, 4501 Harvard Avenue; Mr. and Mrs. William Edelberg, 2800 Darlington Avenue; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Edelberg, 5864 Decelles Place; Mr. and Mrs. Irving Edelberg, 5940 Decelles Avenue; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Clapoff, 3025 Linton Avenue; seven grandchildren: Mrs. W. Gluck (Edna), and David, children of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edelberg; Frank and Lazar, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Edelberg; Paula and Susie, daughters of Mr.r^itf Mrs. Irving Edelberg; and Ephraim, son of the late Norman Edelberg; and two great-grandchildren: Karen and Naomi, children of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Edelberg. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edelberg were married in Russia in 1901 and came to Canada in 1904. A grove of one thousand trees was planted in their honour in Canada Forest, near Jerusalem.

He is the brother of Sydney, aged eleven year*; grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. Tannenbaum, of Israel. Kiddush was observed. Mrs. Retik was in a lilac-pink-coloured gown, made with a scooped neckline, re-embroidered with matching crystals; and full akirt; with a mauve orchid . corsage. Mrs. Goresky wore a grey, silk sheath, made with a square neckline; and short sleeves, with a corsage of yellow orchids. The table was trimmed with a gold-coloured and white anniversary cake adorned with an arrangement of pink and white carnations, Mrs. Louis Albert, and Jeffrey and Bonnie, were here for the occasion. The above item, which appeared here last week, is repeated to correct an inadvertent error.

Her veil of white tulle illusion was held by a blue, pill-box hat; and she carried a white prayer book with white carnations. Blue and white carnations decorated the hall. Mrs. Dubrow, mother of the groom, was in a blue, brocaded sheath; with a hat of blue; and her corsage was of white and blue carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Joel Dubrow spent their wedding trip in Los Angeles, Calif., the bride departing in a pale blue, silk dress. They have taken up residence in Boston, Mass. Her veil of tulle illusion was held by a tiara of seed-pearl-beads; and she carried a white prayer book with white orchids. Miss Francoise Roth, as maid of honour for her sister, was in a gown of pink organza, with full skirt; and had a crown of pink and white carnations; and carried a cascade of the same flowers. Mrs. Seymour Katz, and Misses Rita Czitrom, Marilyn Czitrom, and Elizabeth Miller, as bridesmaids, were gowned in pink organza, made with full skirts. Each had a crown of matching material; and carried white and pink carnations. Patricia Roth, as flower girl for her sister, in a pink organza party dress, had a crown to match it; and carried a nosegay of white and pink carnations. Andrew Wiesz was best man for his brother. The ushers were: Seymour Katz, Leslie Katz, George Mayman, and Robert Hirschel. Ronald Wiesz, nephew of the groom, was page boy. Mrs. Rhoda Teitelbaum Kagan, 2697 Soissons Avenue, died on Saturday, June 3, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Kagan; three sons: Leon, 6550 Westbury Avenue; Nat, and Solly; three grandsons, Sheldon, Martin Carl, and Donald Alan, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kagan; two brothers: Saul, and Aaron Taymor, of Brockton, Mass.
