A number of ingenious novelties have been added to the programme for the Hadasaah bazaar at the Mount Royal Hotel* March; 11 and 12. Pocket Maids will circulate among the throng, charging 41 iu8tso~rauchJ' to have their pockets, which Will contain surprise packages, picked. The events at the bazaar will be broadcasted by radio. Additional convenors for the booths are: refreshments, Mrs, S. DeZwirek and Mrs. A. Gordon, assisted by Mesdames S. Rosen-baum, G. Goldstein, S. Bexlind, M. Usher, Goldner, Held and Cooperstone; fortune telling, Miss C. Popliger; junior room, Mrs. H. M, Rabin and Mrs. Goldstein; pocket maids�convenor, Miss A. Lieberman, treasurer, Mrs. Ascher Pierce; financial secretary, Misses Frances and Leah Jacobson; soft drinks, Mrs. A. Seigler; books and stationery, Mrs. M. Simand; flowers, Mrs. J. Kal-man, Miss Ness and Miss Segar; Palestine art shop, Miss Bertha Myer; fish pond, Misses E. Segal and S. Strassberg; bookshop, Misses Fannie Rudnikoff, Dora Ness and Rose Ness. Several orchestras have donated their services, among them: the Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity orchestra which will play on Tuesday; Mr. Kirsch's orchestra which will play on Wednesday evening, and the Melody Four which will play both afternoons from 3 to 6.
NATIONAL FUND WORK OF THE MONTREAL HADASSAH CHAPTERS

May 31st, 1923, Montreal Hadassah had $2,861.83 for National Fund work.
Receipts for the monthsdf June, October, November, December and January total $3,842.92, exceeding the total J.N.F. receipts of that year by almost one thousand dollars ($981.54) the percentage of increase being about 38%.
While all branches of the National Fund received Montreal Hadassah's ardent support, such as the Golden Book, Land Fund, Herzl Forest (Tree Fund), Stamp Fund, General National Fund, the medium par excellence chosen by the Montreal Chapters to further the aims of the National Fund at the same time spread propaganda, was the placing of Jewish National Fund, Boxes. Boxes are in the homes of 2,500 Jewish householders; 1,250 boxes had been placed up to May 31st, 1923, and in the past six months the other 1,250 were placed.

The< Junior Chapters assisted the seniors in effecting collections from the J.N.F. boxes (clearings being made every two months during the months from October to June), the following Junior Chapters having taken part: Muroah, Rose of Sharon, Lillian Freiman, Deborah, Hatikvah, Menorah, Ziona and Westmount Jr.
An instance of the February work as being accomplished by some of the Montreal Chapters:
The Miriam-Brainin Ortenberg Chapter have honoured the^r president, Mrs. A. H. Rabin, with a Golden Book Certificate. They have voted six trees in honour of Mrs. J. B. Goldstein. The box clearings so far this month will net $150, and they have placed a number of new boxes.
The Queen Esther Chapter are honouring Mr. and Mrs. P. Goldolatt by inscribing their names for a grove of 100 trees in the Herzl Forest. They have honoured Mrs. M. Fineberg with a certificate for 25 trees and have voted to the Deborah Chapter members, the Misses Bessie Segal and Winnie Schwis-berg', three trees each; to the Mizpah Chapter members, Miss Dinah Abrahams and Miss Sara Betwinek, five trees each; to the Menorah Chapter, to the Misses Anna Klein and Rose Green berg, two trees each. The trees in honour of the Junior members have been voted in appreciation of the services rendered their Senior Chapter in the clearing of J.N.F. boxes.
The box clearings of the Queen Esther Chapter so far this month netted $204.68.
The other senior chapters have not reported their February accomplishments.
MONTREAL YOUNG JUDAEA
Some of the clubs that met this Sunday at the Zionist Institute were: The Hadassah Buds, Stars of Judaea, Homeland Boys, Sons of Israel, Naomi Circle, Bnai Herzl, Max Nordau Circle, Pioneers of Zion, Archons Circle, Bon Arnica Girls, Judaea's Hope.
At the Max Nordau Circle the principle speaker was Mr. M. Reich, a Jewish student recently arrived from Europe. Mr. Reich discussed the Jewish student in Europe and America and the attitude thay take towards Jewish problems. Mr. S. Chait was elected president, Mr. M. Bauman vice-president, Max Wolofsky, secretary-treasurer. Members of the Executive: Messrs. H. Noveh, S. Epstein, J. Rubinstein and H, Beinhaker are representatives on the local Council of Young Judaea.
The Hadassah Buds have celebrated their recent entrance in Young Judaea by donating $15 towards the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
A debate was held between the Sons of Zion and the Knights of Judaea. The Knights cf Judaea won on the negative side of the resolution that the dispersion has been of great benefit to the Jewish race. The Zionist Hall was rcowded.
The Bnai Herzl held a dance last week- Homeland Boys concert and dance, March 16, Sunday evening.
Afterwards the executive of Young Judaea met in conference with Rabbi J. L. Zlotnik, director of the J.N.F. Preparations ore under way to organize a campaign for the Nordau Garden City on coming Purim. Young Judaea all over Canada are expected to participate.
