Abdul on-e hundred pupils wiH take final examinations, Sunday, May 2, at the Sunday School, Fairmount Avenue. Convocation for pupils, parents and guests at the synagogue Sunday afternoon, May 16, at which graduations and promotions will be announced, medals and prizes awarded. A programme has been arranged by the Sunday School teacher, the principal, Bernard Figler, the Sunday School director, J. Shapiro, and'-by J. H. Gbldwnith, president of the Young People's Society.

Congregational meeting, Wednesday, April 21, at the Synagogue building. D. Cummings presided. The constitution drawn by the committee, consisting of Rabbi Berger, L. Fitch and J. Shapiro, was read and adopted. It will be printed and distributed to members. Classes have started for religious instruction. A teacher's training course will be offered to young men and young women with high school standing. A choir is being organized under the direction of Mr. Miller, cantor. Sisterhood is completing plans for a bridge in May at the Edinburgh Cafe. The committee on social activities is arranging for outdoor sport during the summer months for members and wives.

BARON DE HIRSCH BOOK CLUB ELECTION
Four hundred people attended the annual banquet, election of officers and dance of the Baron de Hirsch Book Club, April 25, in the Assembly Hall of the Institute, which was decorated with flags, palms and flowers. A bronze statue, engraved, was presented to the honourary president, R. H. Blumenthal, by the officers. Misses Ida Ratner and Sarah Miller were presented with silver friendship rings.
