The first board meeting of the Women's Auxiliary took place at the home of Mrs. Joseph Levinson, 4181 Sherbrooke Street West, Friday, October 8. Mrs. Joseph Levinson presided. Plans were made for the opening meeting October 27, the annual luncheon. A sale of hand-made articles and homemade jams, preserves, etc., is planned for early in December. A letter was read from the Crippled Children Hospital which is in need of funds. Twenty per cent, of the pupils are Jewish. Mrs. Felix Leopold was appointed convenor to secure subscriptions for this institution. It was also decided to send an annual subscription to the Neighbourhood House.

Wyndham; financial secretary, P. Pre&sner; board (for two years, 1926-1928), D, Weisman, L. Fitch, K.C., Jacob Cohen, J. Shapiro, H. Rosenfeld, M. Greenberg; (for one year), Julius Cohen, H. Fine, L. A course of lectures has been arranged by Harold S. Freeman, who is in charge of the post-graduate class at the Sunday School, Fairmount Avenue. The group meets every Sunday at the synagogue, at 10.45 a.m. Discussions, debates, essays. Speakers will be invited.
