Young Ladies' Zionist Chapter met November 12, at the home of Mrs. L. Goodman, 1235 Bernard Avenue West, Mrs. Ernie Genser presiding. Returns for bazaar tickets were made by ticket committee, to Mrs. Z. Rill, chairman. On account of length of programme, business was postponed for next meeting. A. J. Livinson gave a book review on "Jews Are Like That," by "Analy-ticus." Mrs. Genser thanked Mr. Livinson. Next meeting, G. B. Shaw's "Intelligent Women's Guide" , to be reviewed. Tea money, $4.25.
Queen Esther Chapter met at Zionist headquarters Monday, November 12, List for National Fund collections were distributed to Mesdames I. Trachten-berg, M. Cohen, L. Ciiman and I. Jacobs. Mrs. S. Jacob9, convener of the kitchen at the bazaar for the chapter, has received cash and other donations. The following volunteered to help in the kitchen: Mesdames S. Goodman, B. Plonsky, L. Pappelbaum, and J. Rosenberg. Next meeting, Monday, November 19, at 3 p.m., at Zionist headquarters.
Rebecca Berger Chapter met November 12, at the home of Mrs. R. Gode!, 361 Northcliffe Avenue. Mrs. L. Stober presided. Committees reported on flower donations. Mrs. Stober read a paper on the Girls' Agricultural School of Nahalal. The raffle was won by Mrs. M. Gross. Next meeting, November 19, at the home of Mrs. M. Gross, 116 Brodeur Avenue.
Shaar Hashomayim Chapter met at a toy shower, Monday, November 12, in the Auxiliary room, at 3 p.m. Mrs. Ezra Lozinski gave musical selections, and Dr. Abramowitz spoke on the works of Ludwig Lewisohn.
North End Chapter met at the home of Mrs. N. Auerbach, St. Famille Street, Monday, November 12. Mrs. S. Cooperstone presided. Mrs. L. Matthew*, convener for bazaar tickets, reported. Dance, January 9, at Victoria Hail, Westmount. Mesdames I. Benditsky and H. Cerin were appointed conveners of tickets. Mrs, A. Mailitz won the weekly raffle. Next meeting at the home of Mrs. H. Levine, 63 St. Joseph Boulevard West, Monday, November 19. Mesdames S. Silverman and S. Sterling paid fees. Tea netted $4.50. It was decided to send $42 to National Fund. Three prizes were offered to thoae who sold the most tickets.

Weinstein and Miss Dora Gradinger received donations of hats for the bazaar. Mrs. R. Silver* stone collected National Fund money while visiting in Cornwall which was turned over to Sybil Cohen Chapter. Mrs. C. Rabin read Jewish stories. Raffle donated by the chapter was won by Mrs, R. Silverstone. Miss Esther Lewis sang, accompanied by Miss L. Lewis; and Miss Anne Segal sang, accompanied by Miss Sarah Block. Immigrant classes conducted under the auspices of the Jewish- Women's Council will be called the Marietta S. Levy classes in memory of Mrs. Moe Levy, at the request of the pupils. At a special session of the presidents of the various Jewish organizations of the city iast Sunday morning. Mrs. A. Needle, president of the Mothers' Club, moved a resolution expressing' sympathy with the bereaved family of Mra. M. Levy. Mrs. S. At Lyons, president of the Deborah Ladies' Aid, seconded the resolution.
