The marriage of Diana, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loula Bellam, to Moe, aon of Mr. and Mr*. H. Schafer, both of Montreal, waa solemnised Sunday, August 18. at 6 p. m^ at Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue, Rabbi AbrarnowiU officiated, assisted by Reverend Segal. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Over a medieval gown of ivory moire fell a Brussels net veil. She carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and Hliea-of-the-valley. Her only attendant was her slater, Miss Rke Bel-lam, as maid of honour. She wore a robe de style of Perry blue French moire1, a large velvet picture hat, shoes matching and an arm bouquet of roses and sweet peas. Arthur ^chafer, brother of the groom, waj? best man. Mrs. Bellam, mother of the bride, wore a black crepe romaine ensemble, and a blnck transparent velvet and maline hal; Mrs. Schafer. mother of the groom, a beige velvet and georgette gown with hat to match. Their corsages were of roses and sweet peas. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Kup-chick's Grill, St. Catherine Street West. Out of town guests were LJonel Shine, of London. England; D. Kolber, of Chicago: and Miss Anna Beguin, of New York. Mr. and Mrs. Sehafer spent their honeymoon in New York Atlantic City, Old Orchard Beach and other points.
