� Canadian Jewish Congress:
War Efforts Committee gave authorization to Mrs. S. Roll, 4159 Decarie Boulevard, to hold a raffle under the auspices of the War Charities Act, of an antique gold bracelet which was contributed by Mrs. Roll, Proceeds went for cigarettes for soldiers overseas. The drawing took place at Red Cross Headquarters, and - Mrs. S. M. Switaman, 5481 Queen Mary Road, was the winner. Mrs. Samuel Bronfman made the drawing.
� Jewish General Hospital
Women's Auxiliary general meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2.45 pjn.; at the Mount Royal Hotel. Dr. George F. Stephens, superintendent of Royal Victoria Hospital, will speak on Group Hospitalization. The president is Mrs. Alton Goldbloom.

Dr. Silverman is a graduate in medicine from McGlll University and following a period of post-graduate study in psychiatry, returned to Montreal to Join Che staff of the Institute In 1923.
