The choir sang "Because," The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a gown of heavy brocaded white satin with a fuU skirt which ended in a loon; court train and a sweetheart neckline; and slightly purred sleeves coming to Illy points over the hands. She had pearls, the gift of the groom. Her veil of tulle LHusion fell from a crown of seed pearls and orange blossoms, and extended the full length of her train, and she carried a white ht>le covered iwith orchids, white roses and streamers. Mm I. Kokotow, of Kiridand Lake, attended her sister as matron of honor, wearing a goiwtt of hernia colored heavy sheer crepe, with a long waistline and full skirt, and a sailor collar which ended In a hood and which 'was trimmed with bugde beads. The bridesmaids, Misses Muriel Atkins and Layah Gold and Mm I. Shanbrom, of Detroit, wore turquoise colored gowns, fashioned the same as that of the matron of honor. Sarah Welgensberg died on November 14, In her eightieth year. She was the mother of Jacob, Max, Abraham, Samuel, Joseph, Mm S. Klapp, Mm M. Kalpin, and Mrs. J. SchuDcreut, and also leaves twenty-six grandchildren and. one great-grandchild. Funeral was from Peperman's Chapel to the National Workman's Society Cemetery. Shiva was at 5306 Hutchison Street

RABBIS WIN PAY RISE BY STRIKE
Five rabbi*, metnbers of the Shoctima Union Local 370, A. F. of L� if New York City, staged a sitdown strike at FekU msn Brothers Abbatolr st Elisabeth, NJ., refusing to slaughter cattle for the kosher trade until their demands for a f5-a-week salary increase were granted. After an hour and a halt the company met the rabbi's demands and they returned to work, according to Alexander H. Feldman, president of the firm.
Mr. Fekknan said first sit* down was ended when they put the equivalent of the salary Increase demanded by the rabbis in escrow with the union's business agent, George Ledermau of Now York City, pending a hearing. FeJdman said there are five rabbis employed by his firm.
