The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in the Laurentians, the bride travelling in a lime-colored two-piece wool suit, trimmed with brown chiffon velvet, brown accessories, and a raccoon coat. one inch pieces one green pepper diced four carrots juiced potatoes quartered as required Cut meat in small cubes and roll in flour, seasoned with salt and pepper. Brown in hot fat with chopped onions, add bay leaves, tomatoes, and boiling water. Simmer, with bones if there are any that came with the meat, for one and one-half hours. Then, remove bones, and add celery, green pepper, carrots and potatoes. Simmer until vegetables are done. Serves six to eight people.

HUNGARIAN PARTY PASTRY
one-quarter cup white sugar one and one-half cups one-quarter oup brown sugar cake flour one teaspoon vanilla one-half teaspoon
two egg whites, beaten stiff baking powder
one cup chopped nuts ; one-half teaspoon
two egg yolks, beaten baking soda
one-half cup butter Cream butter, and add both sugars; and egg-yolks. Mix in carefully flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt which have been sifted together. Pat into a thin layer onto a greased and floured eight-by-eight tin. Spread three-quarters of a cup of jam or jelly over the dough; add one-half cup nuts evenly over this; and over that the whites. Sprinkle rest of nuts over the whites and bake in a 350-degree oven until brown.
