The marriage of Miss Sboshana Roeamtna- Aronowita, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Aronowite, 210 Riverside Drive! New York, to Dr. HUlel Benjamin LevDie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barnett Levine, 1214 Lajoie Avenue, took place .at Temple Bnai Jeshurun, in New York, on December 27, at five o'clock. Dr. Israel Goldstein officiated, assisted by Rabbi Morris Goldberg, of Congregation Shaar Zedek, and a friend of the bride's family. Reverend Jacob Schwartz was the cantor. The bride was given in marriage by her father.'She wore a gown of white satin and Chan-tilly lace, which was designed with a high, round neckline, diamond-cut yoke, and lace sleeves, which were tightly-fitted and pointed over her wrists. There was a front panel of lace from the waistline to hemline, the skirt having very full, rounded hip effect, with a long train. Her headdress was of seed-pearl beads, made in a Cleopatra-effect band, with a tulle illusion veil reaching to the hem tit her skirt; and she carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids and lilies-of-the-valley. Mrs. Samuel Greenblatt, 4545 Ridgevale Avenue, Montreal, sister of the groom, was matron of honor, wearing a copper-shaded metallic silk-faille gown fashioned with softly-draped off-the-shoulder neckline, and^de girdle-type waistband; and with full skirt, shaping into a very slight train. Her matching Juliet cap was made up of a^. series of tiny leaves dotted with emerald-green sequins; with a nose-tip veil of matching tulle, dotted with the same sequins. She had shoes and gloves to match her dress; with an emerald-green necklace, and carried a cascade bouquet of Joanna Hill roses. was giVen in marriage by her parents. She wore white satin in off-the-shoulder style, its low neckline encircled with a pattern of beaded flowers. Made with long sleeves, tightly-fitted bodice, and skirt, it had a very long train. Her satin tiara was arranged with a finger-tip tulle Illusion veil, and she carried a Bible, with two white orchids and staphanotig. Her only ornament was a string of antique pearls, which had belonged to her late grandmother, Mrs. w. Leb, of Europe. The bride was attended by Miss Barbara Devore, of Miami Beach, as maid of honor, in a pink nylon marquisette ballerina dress, fashioned with a V-neck, and fitted bodice, with ankle-length skirt. Jane Elizabeth Reckford, of New York, was the flower-girl, wearing a floor-length period dress of gold-shaded sOk taffeta, .with short sleeves, trimmed witn rnch-ing, the hem of the very full skirt being similarly trimmed. She had a wide sash, tied at the back in a bustle-effect bow, of moss-green velvet; and a crown headdress of toning flowers; and carried a tiny basket of flower petals which she scattered in the bride's path. Samuel Greenblatt of Montreal, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man; and the ushers were: Sylvain Nagler, Henry Lindenbaom, Edgar Bochner, and: Jordan Kasson, all of New York. She had a small bronze-shaded, tulle hat, with side arrangement of ifcrnt-grreen and bronze-shaded flowers; long, bronze-shaded erloves, and matching shoes, with a corsage of green orchids. Mrs. Schwisberg, grandmother of the groom, wore a gown of royal-blue silk faille designed with a low, square cut neckline; and she had a matching velvet turban, velvet gloves and shoes; with a corsage of white gardenias. Dr. and Mrs. Levine left to motor across the country, from New York, to Berkeley, California, where they will reside. Dr. Levine is in the research department of the University of California at Berkeley,^: wooing for the United States Navy. For travelling, the bride wore a softly-tailored suit of maroon wool, with matching bag, gloves and shoes, and felt hat and blouse of ice-blue, also a sheared beaver coat, with a corsage of Ice-blue orchids.
