Jacob Sherman, 142 Dennisoa Avenue, died on September 5, at the age of ninety. He is' survived by two sons, William D., Glen Edyth Drive; Dr. John A., Glen Cedar Road; two grandchildren, Mr*. M, WeiM (nee Lillian Sherman), Glen Edyth Drive; Mre. A. Lampel (nee Sylvia Sherman), of Sarnia; two great-grandchildren, Michele Weiss, and Ian Lampel. He was a member of Shaarei Tzedec Synagogue. At the United Hebrew Funeral Parlor, Rabbi N. Shapiro conducted services. Burial WAS in Roselawn cemetery. Shiva at the home of his son, Dr. Sherman, 6 Glen Cedar Road.
Charles Cade sky, 495 Euclid Avenue, died on September 7, at the age of eighty. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Molly Glass Cadesky; five sons, Jack, Austin Terrace; .Samuel, Inglewood Drive; Phillip, Grace Street; Murray, Walmer Road; Louis, Glen Cedar Road; two daughters, Mrs. L. Mr. and Mrs. David Havelock, formerly of Toronto, now of Petersburg, Va., celebrated their twenty-fiftn wedding anniversary at a dinner at the Hotel Petersburg. About thirty-five guests were present. Mrs. Havelock wore a black sheer dress, with draped skirt, rhinestone buttons, and black accessories. Miss Yvonne Havelock, daughter of the host and hostess, wore a grey faille dress, designed with black velvet yoke, and full skirt, with black velvet hat and black accessories. Out-of-town guests were Israel Levy, of Suffolk, Va.; and Mr. and Mrs. M. Levy, of Portsmouth, Va.; Rabbi Ralph Hersharn was toastmaster. Telegrams of congratulations were received from Toronto; and Los Angeles, Calif.
