Twin Daughters Born to Well Known Zipnists
in Tel Aviv
An announcement of great interest to Zionists throughout Canada is that which reached Vancouver this week, and which tells of the birth of twin daughters to Mr. and Mrs. Israel Mereminsky, the latter formerly Dr. May Bere of Winnipeg.
Mr. and Mrs. Mereminsky, who are now residing in Tel Aviv, were married last summer, aft e r an interesting romance. Mrs. Mereminsky, then Dr. Bere of Winnipeg, for several years occupied an important position with the Winnipeg School Board, as Psychologist. On one of her many trips to the Old Country she decided to visit Palestine, and became a Zionist from the moment she stepped onto the Holy Land. On her return to Canada, she began taking an active part in Zionistic work. When Mr. Mereminsky came to Canada to make a lecture tour, he discovered he was handicapped by the lack of knowledge of the English language. Dr. Bere then volunteered to act as interpreter. A short while afterwards they were married and settled in Palestine. . Mrs. Mereminsky has many friends in . Vancouver who will be pleased to hear of this happy event.
