"Unlll5:e anything that has been seen before in London. Here Is artistry with a whole core of meaning," admitted the Simday Times. "In a crowded week, they stand predeminent. •The appeal of Kayla Mitzell, distinguished Jewish vioUnist, for con-r noisseurs of the musical art may be summed up in one word—rrr-'^Great-^ ness." She will appear here on Monday,; Nov. 23, at the Auditorium, under the management of Shippian Concert Bureau.
Here are a few of the critical remarks pronounced upon her ^.rt: -Says the Toronto Evening Telegram, "One whose technical achievements are foi^otten in delight at something over and above technique-^this is Kayla Mitzel."
VAt once, let us state without reservation that this remarkable girl demonstorates her right to take her place among the foremost e^wnents of the violin art, now before the concert-going public,*' said the Vancouver Daily Province during her first appearance here.
During her first appearance in Vancouver Miss Mitzel was sponsored by the Council of Jewish Women, Her sucess at that time was so great that no especial Jewish sponsorship was requested for this year. It is to be hoped that no Jewish music lover will miss the very real opportunity of hearing music at its greatest as performed by the Jewish violinist, Kayla Mitzel.
