TO EVER^ WOMAN
An Appeal to You and You — and You
The Women's War Work Committee of the Vancouver. Branch, Canadian Red Cross Society, makes a serious appeal for additional workers. We, like the armies in the field, cannot exist without reinforcements. We all know, if we stop to think, that Red Cross needs are increasing day by day.
The need of the women and children of Britain fo^ .clothing continues to grow as the war encroaches on all British industry. The sailors, soldiers, and airmen must continue to have warm woollen comforts. The merchant marine, who are our life-line, need constant and Incmising renewal of warm clothes. Hospitals must be supplied. And NOW the dire needs of Russia must also be met.
For three years our regular workers have carried a heavy burden NOW they alone cannot meet this situation under present conditions. So we speak to the women who do not yet work with iis. WE NUED YOUR MINUTES, YOUR HOURS, YOUR PAYS. We need you shigly, we need you in groups.
We have an ample supply of wool and material—waiting only for willing
hands to transform it into much needed garments. Every woman must help.
The Red Cross is You, and Yon, and You, and Me.
Workdays at Centre Mondasrs and Tuesdays from 10 to 4 o'clock. Business Women's group Monday evenings, 7:30 to 10, at Centre.

Young Judaea
Really splendid Judaean spirit was shown last Sunday when approximately 50 members turned up in zero weather to a Judaean meeting. The attraction of the meeting was undoubtedly an address which was delivered by Kabbi Levy, who gave an outline of the history of Zionism.
The Judaean weekend is but a month away, and plans are already under way for the biggest event of the year. February 26, 27, 28 are the dates set for this mammoth weekend/so keep them in mind.
Study Group

Since Youth Aliyah came into existence over 9000 children have been saved by this plan; since the war started 3,500 children have come into Palestine.
Given adequate support Youth Aliyah can save thousands more of young lives. Children occupy our tenderest attentions and are worth working and fighting for. We must not fail to answer their crying need.
