JERUSALRM-r'Formal appeal of the death sentence for Adolf Eichmann has been received in the hands of Israel's Supreme Cojirt, i>r. Rpbert Servat^us, of Cologne, Eichmann's chief of counsel, has sent to Chief Justice Yitzhak Olshin the appeal.
The appeal reportedly challenges Israel's jurisdiction over the case, citing Eichmann's "abduction" in Argentina precludes Israel's jurisdiction as being cour trary to international law. The attorney must still file a detailed brief within the next 10 days.
