Harry Herman, Vancouver B'nai B'rith Bond chairman, announced that Jan Bart, popular entertainer, humorist and raconteur will appear at the B'nai B'rith "Bond-Spiel" on Wednesday, December 12.
Jan Bart has had a multi-facet career and h?.s been a distinguished member of show business for over 20 years. Born in Europe, he came to this country in 1930, after receiving a scholarship in music at the Warsaw Conservatory.
in 1935, he began his career as a successful contestant on the Major Bowes Amateur Hour. For over 15 years, Mr. Bart has had his owm radio show and, for the past three years, his own TV show, as well as recordings that have sold millions of copies. He Las also appeared on many of the world's stages and in the smartest supper clubs.

According to M'r. Eytan Ezra-chi, Israel trade director, of the lOtal Canadian exports to the iiiiddle East area, 34 per cent is purchased by Israel. Part of the :iard currency required by Israel, to pay for the Canadian merchandise, is provided by the Hadassah-Wizo Organization of Canada.
