The evening's entertainment following the dinner included vocal selections by Pat Walker and Ed Parks; and dancing presentations by the Joy Ames Charleston Duo as well as by Master David Goldman and his partner. Miss Joan Shaffer.
Then came the highlight of the evening, a "This Is Your Life" show that everyone felt would have surpassed even the TV original.
M.C. Murray Goldman, president of the S.T. Men's club, introduced a number of persons from Mr. Gross' past. Some of the persons out of the past who could be heard but could not be seen by Mr. Gross and the audience, included Mrs. Ar-mida Beasley, for whom Mr. Gross had obtained a job many years ago and who after 20 years was still employed in the same position; and S?m North, who at the age of five had been carried by Mr. Gross piggyback to a nearby village where Sam North's grandfather resided; and Al Roadburg who taught Mr. Gross how to drive a truck but whose driving capabilities

Then came the climax. In a homelike on-stage settiftg which included chesterfield, rug, lamp and telephone, Mr. Gross was connected by long distance telephone with his son. Dr. Edward Gross of St. Paul, Minnesota. The audience sat hushed as the long-distance operator put through the call and soon father and son were in happy conversation, shared by the audience by means of loudspeakers. Unknown to everyone was the fact that Edward had been flown in from Minnesota especially for the occasion and that the telephone call was actually being made via a closed circuit hookup directly from the building.

Another unexpected reunion occurred when George Gross, of Seattle, was also presented to his brother. In addition, taped messages of greeting were presented from aH Schara Tzedeck past presidents and although the wellwishers included a simulated message from President Kennedy, the one from Mayor Rathie was truly authentic.
