Policy statemenf
At the closing luncheon of Vancouver Hadassah held on Wednesday, June 5, the retiring Hadassah Council executive and the incoming Council executive touched upon plans and aims for the future of the organization here.
It was deemed fitting at this concluding event of the year's activities to reiterate Hadas-sah's policy of honoring the Sabbath when scheduling all organizational (functions and activities. The second commitment touched upon was that of furthering Jewish education, tradition and culture within the boundaries of Hadassah itself and on behalf of the entire community at large.
