It is interesting to note that these two tireless partners constituted the entire staff when Oakridge Drugs first opened, even to making the deliveries personally. Since Jan. 17, 1960, when, Oakridge Drugs first opened its door, it has never been closed for one single day and is the only drugstore that stays open for service seven days a week and until 11 p.m. daily.
Harry and Jerry note their prices are extremely competitive. They stress that they expend every extra effort to fill children's prescriptions with what they call "instant-instant" service. Other prescriptions, they add, are filled only instantly. Continuous delivery service is maintained.
Certainly what is one of the moist unique pharmaceutical dispensing walls is a highlight of their drugstore. Dispensing medicines is made swift, accurate and fatigue-less through the space-saving wall of drawers which they have installed. It is a 12-foot wall of 30 vertical drawers that rolls smoothly out cf the wall on nylon casters. Many is the housewife who sees it in action who has remiarked on what a brilliant idea it would be for their kitchen!
