THE CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY debating society in England ! has been functioning for some 600 i years. One of their outstanding : members was Israel's present ; Foreign Minister, Abba Eban, ' who recently granted an inter-i view to an Israeli Youth magazine and spoke nostalgically about those days. "We debated the question of Palestine then. There was myself and Anwar Nuseiba, who was Jordan's Foreign Minister for many years and is now one of the outstanding leaders of East Jerusalem. Another one who took part in these debates between Anwar Nuseiba and myself was a yoimg Britisher with the most liberal views possible. This man is today known the whole world over —but not as a liberal. He is the present British Prime Minister, Harold Wilson, of the British Labor Party!

BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER
an El Al plane was unable to land in Zurich. Aboard was Chief Chaplain of the Israel Defence Forces, Brig. Gen. Rabbi Shlomo Goren, who was to address a meeting of Swiss Jewish educational institutions at 8:30 * p.m. that evening. The plane flew on to Paris from where he had to catch a plane back to Geneva, and from Geneva go by train to Zurich. The audience was notified of Goren's delay only minutes after he was to have begun to speak. They decided to wait for him. Fifteen minutes before midnight, Goren arrived and im^ mediately began his address. They say that thunderous applause, such as he received at the end of his speech, had not been heard in Zurich for a long time.
