Every three ye^Sv United Israel Appeal and"TCefen~ Hayesod sponsor a program to bring 500 young Jewish leaders face to face with the most important issues in modern Jewish life. This year's mission runs from Aug. 10 to 20.
Departing Aug: 9 from Montreal and Toronto, Canadian participants will head to Prague, where they'll meet the Israeli ambassador and young members of the Jewish community.
Jewish sites to be visited in Prague include the A1 teneu-Shu 1 (the oldest synagogue still in use in the , world), the ancient Jewish cemetery, the Museum of Franz Kafka and the ghetto area. There will also be a

The group will meet Moshe Gur, director-general of Keren Hayesod-United Israel Appeal, before seeing Project Renewal towns. A cultural evening with dlim is planned at the Jerusalem Theiatre, with organizers of Operation Solomon and Operation Exodus.
Jerusalem tourist sites include the Israel Museum, the Model of the Second Temple and Mount Herzl. Afterward, participants will join a Solidarity March from the King David Citadel Museum to the Western Wall.
