and the air compressor and main I hydraulic pumps off the other. ! And a fourth air cooled Deutz, I producing 30 hp at 1800 rpm. ; drives 12 and 4 kw generators and I maintains the desired tempera-j ture in the fish holds.
All four Deutz engines were i supplied by Simson-Maxwell Ltd. i of Vancouver.
! The three bladed 78 inch dia-| meter propeller with 43-47 pitch J was supplied by Osborne Propel-; lor, the anchor winch by Swann, i and the two-drum trawl winch by Ideal Iron Works.
Other suppliers contributing to the vessel's equipment and appointments included May Ma-
rine Electric, wiring; General Refrigeration, hold refrigeration; Pacific Refrigeration, domestic refrigeration; Bilmac Marine, hardware; Pilkington's Metal Marine, net drum and gallows; Arvis Engineering, hydraulics; Grove Processing Equipment, fish pump.
For the Radii family, with a third ' generation already beginning its training in the industry, and for Albert Radii, cited by B.C. Packers as its top skipper, commissioning of the Royal Canadian represents still another achievement. And if the new vessel can pioneer a new offshore fishery on this coast, it will be the greatest achievement of all.
