Danny Boy
Oh Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling, From glen to glen, and down the mountain side. The summer's gone and all the roses falling. It's you, it's you must go and I must bide. But come ye back when summer's in the meadow Or when the valley's hushed and white with mountain snow. It's 111 be here, in sunshine or in shadow Oh Danny Boy, Oh Danny Boy, I love you so.
But when ye come and all the flowers are dying, If I am dead as dead I well may be, Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying, And kneel and say an Ave
the for me. And I shall hear tho soft you
tread above me And all my grave shall warmer,
sweeter be. For you will bend and tell me
that you love me And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me.

Help make a difference in the Ireland of today
The Ireland Fund of Canada is a non-political, non-sectarian charitable organization dedicated to promoting peace and reconciliation, culture and charity throughout Ireland, North and South. Recently, the Fund committed support for the following priority projects and earnestly asks for your help:
Integrated Education Fund: The education of children in denominational schools has intensified polarization and inhibited trust between the Protestant and Catholic communities. In response, groups of parents across Northern Ireland have joined in creating another option—schools which educate children together with full regard for both traditions. Your support will help start two new integrated schools in the Ormeau district of Belfast and Armagh City.
First Step: This Irish charitable organization provides financial support for grassroots job creation programs in areas of high unemployment in the south of Ireland. Canadian donations are matched dollar for dollar through a benefactor program in Ireland; total funds raised by First Step are then matched through a European Commission program. Your donation will make a vital difference, triggering additional funds for the 'first steps' in alleviating unemployment.
For more information on these and other projects, or to send a donation, please write or call The Ireland Fund
