DUBH LINN GATE
Oin IRISH FMLK
Long before U2 Found What They Were Looking For, even before James Joyce could spell Ulysses, the name "Dubh Linn" - Irish for a black pool - was given to the dark pool of water
which today lies beneath the proud heart of Dublin city. Located close to the Qate of the Quinness Brewery, the dark waters from this "black pool" are the main ingredient in the best
known of the Irish Classics, 'The Perfect Pint".
Many more Irish Classics can now be found at The Dubh Linn Qate Irish Pub, including wonderful food, a vast selection of beers and spirits, real Irish music, and of course "The Craic".
Just like Riverdance, Ulysses, U2, The Commitments, the works of Wilde and Behan, and of course "The Pint of Plain", The Dubh Linn Qate's origins are also rooted deep in Ireland's heritage.
For another Classic Irish experience, visit our Pub, Restaurant and Irish Retail Shop at the foot of
magnificent Whistler Mountain. As the song goes... "Like Dublin in the Rare 'Out Times!"
