Important Fundraisers for Celtic Fest 2005
VANCOUVER - It was estimated that there were over 20,000 people in downtown Vancouver to watch the hugely successful St. Patrick's Day Parade last March 13.
Whole families enjoyed the day s festivities and took part in the many Celtic Fest 2004 activities.
Because of the overwhelming success of the parade, plans are underway to make it an annual St. Patrick's Day event.
The events surrounding Celtic Fest 2004 were largely organized by Warren Purchase and a group of volunteers but as many of you will appreciate, this all takes a lot of money. As a result, a series offundraising events have been planned to help defray the huge costs associated with an event of this magnitude.
If you would like to see this important cultural event continue in this community, show your commitment by supporting these events.
The first fundraisers will be held on November 12 at the Cambrian Hall, located at 215 Mast 1 7th Avenue in Vancouver (Just east of Main Street).
Enjoy a fun evening of dancing to the music of Stone & Sea , and help make CelticFest 2005 a huge success. Doors open at 8 PM and tickets are $10.
