New Look For Legendary Newfoundland Screech
Screech - the Jamaican rum of Newfoundland - plays upon its sea-faring heritage and the story of the trade route between Newfoundland and Jamaica that resulted in Screech's legendary status. Screech is the shriek of the wind in the rigging as it drives home for Newfoundland; it's the cry of the Arctic tern circling the sails.
Since the 1700s, the schooners of the Grand Banks have supplied the Caribbean with salt cod, and a steady stream of Jamaican rum has flowed north to the rocky, wind-swept shores of Newfoundland. The only thing that has changed in 2005, is the new look of the bottle. But it's the same legendary taste. Screech is a truly unique Newfoundland experience.
