January is a very busy month for the Scottish community starting with Hogmanay (New Year's Eve), along with many Robbie Burns dinners and celebrations throughout the month of January when plenty of haggis will be consumed.
Tennent's Scottish Lager will be a special feature in many local pubs and restaurants, particularly in the month of January.
"Tennent's is a brand that we just took over this year," said Crosby, "before that it was a Labatt's portfolio and they ended up dropping it because it competed directly with some of their other products.
"It wasn't actually available for a few years until we picked it up, but it's here now and here to stay. It's also in Alberta and all across Canada."
Tennent's has a huge appeal for people from the UK, along with many Canadians who have travelled to the UK and become familiar with the brand.
"I've been quite surprised when I've gone into some establishments and they're quite familiar with Tennent's from their visit to Scotland and happy to see that it's now available here," said Crosby.
"Magners has been in the Premium Beer portfolio for about two years and it really surprises me how well it's done,

"Magners Pear is new to Canada but it's been in the UK for a long time," said Crosby, "I believe it's the number one cider in the UK.
"We just got it a few weeks ago and people have been asking for it. When I say that I'm the representative for Magners, they want to know when the Pear will be available, and I'm happy to report it's here now."

"And, when people are enjoying their haggis, it would be great to try the lager from Scotland to wash it down."
Premium Beer hopes to have Magners available in B.C. Liquor Stores in the spring. At the moment it's only available in private liquor stores, pubs and restaurants.
William Crosby is from New Brunswick and his family is noted for their famous Crosbys Molasses.
Many will be familiar with the name and probably have Crosbys cooking molasses in their cupboard.
