'Hiking a total of 14 miles on March 8, trout fishing, was enjoyed at-the Morton Lake. .
En route home, C.A. paused for a breather to watch the high' lead method of .logging. When the "godhead" whistle is blown the gas cold-decker roars; under with wide open throttle, causing the tall spar trce..adorned with a big bull-bloc!;, smaller haul-back block and six guy'lines to shiver.'
/That evening was spent in CoxirteiTay 'iff Uie~ifsuar Heavy shopping 'tours while Roy and Roy Maars, being carefree, hid themselves in the new E.W. Theatre. x - . , , .
Oh the following day, the sport sedan was given two coats of wax polish in preparation , for our whirlwind visit to the "big city" shortly via Nanaimo.
