VANCOUVER. — A Japa-neseCitnaclian urged the jury at a recent inqu的t into the' death of a veteran dockworker for stricter enfbrcement of' regulations covering alcohol: or drug use during working; hours.
Tosh Suzuki, a mechanical engineer and an Investigator wはh the Workers' Compensation Board, said one prol> lem Is that people who drink on the job are often protected by fellow workers.
"けwe try to protect the: drinker on the job, we are kni' lnghim wはh kindness,,' he sak!.
