i A'AXCOUVER. �The annual S ffeneral: meeting of the local Japanese Canadian Catholic organisation, Maria. Stella Club, was Vld at,.St,.Paul's Hall oh Oct. 3 with Nobby "Fat Boy" Fu;isawa presiding. About 50 attended. :
He-elected to head the club for the '^4-55 term wa,s 31-year-old Fujisawa. Assisting the prexy are: Peter Nishi, first vice-pre-.sident; Tom Morita, second vice-president; Eugene Fujisawa, third vice-president; Martha Uc-gania, secretary; Agnes Fujisawa, .treasurer. : " . -
.'�Manior'u Ynbe and Julie Sasaki were named in charge of social events, the first of; which ,\\'ill be the annual orchestra dance slated for Friday, Nov. 20. Athletics will be handled, by Katsumi Shiniizu. and Irene Uegahia. Incidentally, Shfniizu, captain of the Maria Stelliles ini the CVO Bowling loop, is looking for female keglers for the Monday night sessions.
Religious and Educational co-ehairineii will -be Johnny Fujisawa and ivewcoiner Mary Suzuki. Named tc> head the welfare post was Jean I.keda, while publicity will be led by Yoko IwasQ.
