1 The concert program of the Toronto Garden club's Japanese Doll Festival played to a packed Canadian Legion .hall in one afternoon and two evening performances Sunday and Monday.
The concert opened with a tea ceremony demonstration, given by Mrs, Kay Takahaslii, hostess , and instructress, with.'guests' Doreeiv Irie, Helen Inouye, Marianne Inouye, Hetty Kono, Tosh Qikawa and Gloria Sato.>

About 550 persons packed the Astdr theatre Sunday in a, very successful .movie night launching the 1056 Toronto JCCA community fund drive. "Anatahan," the featured movie, \yas enjoyed by Issei and Nisei alike;
Ppening addresses were given by chapter vice president Mits Suniiya (in Japanese) and; by: Kiichi Nbgfuchi. President Dr. Paul Takahashi outlined the chapter's program for the year, and emphasized the need for community support.
