Miss Gmora, the bride-elect, wearing a blue, knitted suit, had a corsage of yellow roses. An arrangement of yellow, and bron/.e-coloured carnations, and pompoms trimmed the table. The marriage will take place on November 28, at Shomrim Laboker Synagogue.

Each had a corsage of white, and turquoise-blue carnations. Miss Leiberman, the bride-elect, was in a white silk gown; with a corsage of white, and green carnations. Mrs. Fox wore a black, wool suit; with a white feather hat. The next afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Fox were hosts to sixty-five guests at a luncheon. The hostess was in a blue, knitted suit; with a corsage of mauve orchids. Seated at the head table with the family were: Mr. and Mrs. Issie Kashner, and Mrs. David Leibovitch, uncle, and aunts; and Mrs. Aririie Viheberg, great-aunt. Those who lit candles besides the fanuly* were the above; and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Fox, Leonard Fox, Louis Fox; uncles; and aunts;-Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Steinberg, and Mr. and Mrs. Morton Tennenbaum; cousins. The bar-mitzvah boy spoke. A blue, and white birthday cake was combined with white, and red roses, and carnations to beautify the. table.

Mrs. Ein was in a blue, silk, knitted suit; with a cor-draped turban. That evening Mrs. Greenberg received two hundred and fifty guests at a dinner in the garden of her home. The hostess was in a hand-crocheted, blue gown. Miss Greenberg wore a pink, silk gown. Mrs. Ein was in a royal blue matelasse" gown. Yellow chrysanthemums, and bronze-coloured Shasta daisies decorated the tables.
Mrs. Herman Hellenbrand, 2150 Church Street; and Mrs. David Bayer, 6297 Clanranald Avenue; gave a luncheon, with one hundred guests present, to honour Mrs, Hellenbrand's daughter, Miss Daryl Rita Hellenbrand, the fiancee of Mrs. Bayer's son, Max Bayer. Mrs. Hellenbrand wore a powder-blue, silk, knitted suit; with a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Bayer was in a pink, silk, knitted suit; with a corsage of pink, and white carnations. Miss Hellenbrand wearing a green, silk, knitted suit, had a corsage of yellow roses. The table was decorated with pink roses, and white carnations, and pom-poms. The marriage will take place on November 13, at Shomrim Laboker Synagogue.

The marriage of Miss Connie Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel B. Lewis, 5550 Trent Avenue, to Eleaizer Gelber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Gelber, 740 � Lexington Avenue, was solemnized . at the home of the groom's parents, on Thursday, June 3, at half-past six o'clock, by Rabbi Wilfredi Shuchat, assisted by Cantor Nathan Mendelson. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a. fitted, white, -satin gown, trimmed with pink Guipure lace, and seed-pearl-beads; and cut with a high neckline; long sleeves; and A-line skirt finishing in a short train. Her tulle illusion veil was placed by a matching crown; and she carried a bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley on a fan. Mrs. Aaron Gelber,'sister-in-law of the groom, was matron of honour, She wore a blue, and white printed chiffon gown; and a matching hat; and carried a bou-auet. of white, and pink flowers. Aaron Gelber was best man for his brother. The wedding flowers were pink, and white pom-poms, roses, and carnations. There was an orchestra. Seventy guests were pre-.sent at a dinner reception. Mrs. Lewis, mother of the bride, wore a pink, ribbon, lace gown; with a pink hat. Mrs. Gelber. mother of the. groom, wore a pink chiffon gown; with a pink*hat. Their flowers were corsages of white orchids. Fifty guests were received at a dinner in the Bonaventure Room of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. There was orchestra music. Mrs*. Aspell, mother of the bride, was attired in a pink, crepe gown, made with a sleeveless, beaded bodice; and had a matching hat, With a short veil: and a bouquet of pink, and white orchids.' Mrs. Weinstein, mother of the groom, in a pink, shantung- gown, had a flowered hat; and a pink, orchid corsage. Dr. and .Mrs. Paul R. Weinstein spent their wedding.trip in Jamaica, the bride going away in a two-piece, yellow, knitted suit; with a corsage of white orchids. They have taken up residence in Rochester, N.Y. Here for the marriage were: Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weinstein. of Tjmmins, Ont.; and Mr. and Mrs. A. Azes, of Los Angeles, Calif.; uncles, and aunts of the groom. It Was fashioned with a fitted bodice, boat-shaped neckline; long sleeves; and skirt shaping into a train of silk organza apoliqued with the same lace. Her long veil of tulle illusion was topped by a matching headdress: and. she carried a bouquet of white roses, and stephanotis. Miss Judy Lutter was maid of honour \ for her sister. She wore a gown of yellow chiffon; made with a ribbon lace bodice; also a yellow headdress; and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Arlene Lutter. aged sixteen years, sister of the bride, was an attendant. She wore a yellow, silk lace dress, trimmed with Guipure lace; and a matching headdress; and carried White roses. Dr. David Yarosh, of New York,.was best man. The ushers were: Reuben Corber, Samuel Strohl, Norman Wexelman, Ronald Wexelman, Sonny Schwartz, and Morton Wexler: all cousins of the bride; Louis Sandler, and Allan Kramer, both of New York. Standards of white gladioli adorned the Svnagogue. An orchestra played. Two hundred and twenty-five gu�sts were received. Yellow roses, and russet-coloured chrysanthemums decorated the tables. Mrs. Lutter, mother of the bride, gowned in champagne-coloured, re-embroidered lace set over peau de soie, had a hat of that shade.
