Aaron Lipowitz, 635 Euclid Avenue, died, on February 20, at the age of sixty-nine. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leah Lipowitz; children, Morris, Beatrice Street; Abraham, Ridge Hill Drive; Dr. H. Lipowitz, of Estev-an, Sask.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. � He was a member of Shipia Synagogue, Oxford Street; Ivansker Society; and Belle Ewart Congregation. Rabbi A. A. Jacob Elie, 402 Clinton Street, died suddenly on February 18, at the age of fifty-six. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sadie Cher-vinsky Elie; a son, David, 17 London Street; granddaughter, Shelley Mae Elie; and three sisters, Mrs. J. Tishler (Anne), College Street; Mrs. J. Solomon J. Freedman, 25 Peveril Hill Road South, died on January 30, at the age of twenty-two at the Albany Hospital, in Albany, N. Y,, as the result of an automobile accident, while on the way home from a vacation in Miami Beach, Florida. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Freedman, 25 Peverill Hill Road South; and a sister, Mrs. David Cappe (Lyle). A former student of Landsdowne Public School and of Harbord Collegiate Institute, he was later associated with S. Freedman and Son. He was a member of the Ostrowtser Society Young Men's Branch. Rabbi A. Schoihet officiated at funeral services held from the United Hebrew Burial Parlour. Interment was- in Ostrowtser Mutual Benefit Society Cemetery, Lambton Avenue.
