DAVID-HOREN
The marriage of Miss Nancy Horen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Horen, 4202 Mackenzie Street, to Michael David, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward David, of Pompano Beach, Florida, was solemnized at Chevra Kadisha Bnai Jacob Synagogue, on Sunday, July 11, at half-past six o'clock, by Rabbi David Roth assisted by Cantor J. Rosenzweig, and Reverend Aaron Greenberg. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white, sleeveless, peau de soie gown, with beaded bodice, made with a round neckline; and slim, skirt finishing as a. long train. Her tulle illusion veil was held by a lace mantilla; and she carried a prayer book with white orchids. Miss Doreen Horen, sister of the bride, was maid of honour, wearing a pink, peau de soie gown, made with a beaded bodice; round neckline; and A-line skirt; also a pink hair-bow; and carried pink, and white carnations. The bridesmaids were: Mrs. Samuel Pekeles, Mrs. William Lekowitch; Misses Phyllis, and Frema Rosenfeld, both of Brooklyn, N. Y.; Ruth Achtman, and Nina Greenbaum. Each wore a pink, peau de soie, and silk gown; with a pink hat; and carried bouquets of pink, and white carnations. Rhona Achtman, aged thirteen years, cousin of the bride, was an attendant. She wore a pink, silk dress; with a hat to match it: and carried a nosegay of pink carnations, Beverley Gold, aged six years, was flower girl. She wore a pink, organza dress; and a pink head-band; and carried the bride's train. Allan David was his brother's best man. The ushers were: Robin David, brother of the groom; Joseph Goren, cousin of the bride; David Ptak, Asher Greenbaum, Aaron Stuchler, and William Lekowitch. Pink and white roses, and carnations were the wedding flowers. An orchestra played. Three hundred and fifty guests were present. Mrs. Horen, mother of the bride, wore a sleeveless, gown of beaded, pink, peau de soie and silk, designed with a slim skirt. Her hat was pink. Mrs. David, mother of the groom, wore a sleeveless, pink, organza gown, enhanced with embroidered appliques; and slim skirt. Her hat matched it. Each had a corsage of white orchids. Mr. and Mrs. Michael David spent their wedding trip in New York; the bride going away in.a pink, knitted suit; with a corsage of white orchids. They have taken up residence in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Here for the marriage were: parents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. N. Hirshman, of Pompano Beach, grandparents of the groom; Allan David, and Robin David, of New York, brothers of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. J. Rapp, and Abe, and Marvin, of Vineland, N. J.; Mr. and Mrs. S. Epstein, and Lisa, of New York; Mr. and Mrs. M. Zajdfudem, Mr. and Mrs. M. Goren, arid Joseph; Mr. and Mrs. A. Warman; all of Toronto, Ont.; Joseph Goren, of Buffalo, N. Y.; all cousins of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. J. Goran, of Boston, Mass.; Mrs. F. Hertz, of Vineland; and Mr. and Mrs. D. Rosenfeld. and Phyllis, and Frema. of New York.
ALBERT-BLICHER
The marriage of Miss Beverly Ann Blicher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard A. Blicher, 2320 Noel Street, to Leonard Rubin Albert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Albert, 1745 St. Louis Street, was solemnized at Beth Ora Synagogue, on Tuesday, June 1, at six o'clock, by Rabbi Morris Halpern, assisted by Cantor Samuel B. Tau-be, and Reverend A. Kenner. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a fitted gown of white, peau de soie, with a bodice of Alencon lace, made with a jewel neckline; three-quarter-length sleeves; and A-l.ine skirt trimmed with appliques of lace, seed-pearl-beads, and crystals, and topped with an overskirt which merged with a chapel train. Her finger-tip veil of tulle illusion was caught to a matching headdress; and she carried a prayer book with white orchids, and stephanotis. Miss Bonnie May Blicher was her sister's maid of honour, wearing a turquoise-blue, silk gown; also a hat of that colour; and carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations. Mrs. Robert Garfinkle. cousin of the bride: and Miss Sandra Albert, sister of the groom; were attendants; each wearing a turquoise-blue gown. They had headdresses of stephanotis; and carried cascade bouquets of white carnations. Ronald Albert was best man for his cousin. The ushers were: Brian Blicher, brother of the bride; Richard Albert, cousin of the groom; Barry Besner, Bruce Udit-sky, Aaron Markoff, Richard Goldsmith, Philip Esar, and Harvey Bookman. Mrs. M. Simon played the wedding processional music. Standards of white snapdragons, carnations, and candles in candle-labra, decorated the Synagogue. A reception was held in the hall. Mrs. Blicher. mother of the bride, wore a turquoise-blue, peau de soie gown, trimmed vrith teads; and a matching hat. Mrs. Albert, mother of the groom, wore a turquoise-blue chiffon xrown; with a beaded bodice; and a hat of the same shade. Their flowers were white orchids carried with their purges. Mr. and Mr*. Leonard Rubin Albert sp�nt their wedding trip in
Miami Beach, Florida, the bride going away in a white, silk suit, trimmed with navy-blue and white polka dots; and a corsage of white orchids, and stephanotis. They have taken up residence at 675 Laurentian Boulevard.
FRIEDMAN-KORNBLUTH
The marriage of Miss Susan Kornbluth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kornbluth, 4574 Harvard Avenue, to Norman Friedman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Friedman, 4952 Plamondon Street, was solemnized at Adath Israel Synagogue, on Sunday, August 22, at half-past six o'clock, by Rabbi Charles Bender, assisted by Cantor Benjamin Hass. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white, fitted, peau de soie and lace gown;'made with a round neckline; elbow - length sleeves; and Empire skirt terminating in a long train. Her tulle illusion veil was placed by a matching headdress; and she carried a prayer book with two white orchids, and stephanotis. Mrs. Sid-
ney Ozernitsky was her sister's matron of honour. Her sleeveless, apricot-coloured, chiffon gown; was cut with a round neckline; and full skirt. She had a matching hat; and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Miss Linda Kornbluth, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, in an Empire gown of a pink, peau de soie; with a pink hair-bow; and carried white, and pink carnations, and roses. Marna Lynn Kolber, aged seven years, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a pink, silk dress; with a headdress to match; and carried a basket of pink rose petals. Norman Yudin was his cousin's best man. The ushers were: Dr. Ralph Kornbluth, cousin of the bride; D,r. Sidney Ozernitsky, brother-in-law of the bride; Barry Zuckerman, Maurice Borts, Lazarus D. Caplan, Zigmund Rubin; and Allan Abramovitch, cousin of the groom. White, and pink roses, carnations, and pompoms, arranged with greenery, were the wedding flowers. Lenny Rubin and his orchestra played. Three hundred guests were re-
ceived. Mrs. Kornbluth, mother of the bride, wore a sleeveless, pink, peau de soie gown; made with a beaded bodice; round neckline; and A-line skirt. Her hat matched it; and her corsage was of white roses. Mrs. Friedman, mother of the groom, was in a pink, lace gown, cut with a slim skirt. Her hat was pink; and her flowers were a corsage of pink, and white orchids. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Friedman spent their wedding trip in Nassau, and Jamaica; the bride going away in a blue and white linen suit; with a corsage of white orchids. They travelled via B.O.A.C. Air Lines. They have taken up residence at 7925 Kings-ley Road.
ROTH-MILLER
The marriage of Miss Ellen Louise Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Miller, 1916 De-patie Street, to Lewis Roth, son of Mrs. Ruth Roth, 5810 Plantage-net Street, and the late Lawrence Roth, was solemnized at Beth El Synagogue, on Sunday, June 13,
at half-past six o'clock, by Rabbi Allan M. Langner, assisted by Cantor H. Gisser. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her Empire gown of white, silk organza, was appHqued on the godice with Chantilly lace; and had short sleeves; and full skirt, with a chapel train. Her veil of tulle illusion was topped by a Juliet cap of the same lace; and she carried a prayer book with white orchids. Mrs. Gerald Yan-covitch, sister of the bride, was matron of honour. Her gown of shocking-blue, peau de soie, was fashioned with a beaded over-blouse; and slim skirt. She had a beaded crown; and carried a bouquet of white roses. Susan Yuck, aged eight years, niece pf the groom, was flower girl. She wore an embroidered, blue cotton dress; and a blue hair-ribbon; and carried a basket of blue, and white roses, and carnations. Michael Miller, brother of the bride, was best man. The ushers were: Avrie Gillick, and David Moscovitch, cousins pf the bride; Harry Yuck, brother-in-law , of the groom; Ge-
rald Yancovitch, brother-in-law of the bride; Irwin Levi, and Daniel Tansky. Howard Yancovitch, aged six years, nephew of the bride, was ring-bearer. White, blue, and pink roses, pom-poms, carnations, and gladioli were the wedding flowers. There was orchestra music. Three hundred and twenty-five guests were present at the reception. Mrs. Miller, mother of the bride, wore a sleeveless, sheath gown of blue, peau de soie, made with a beaded bodice. Her crown matched it; and her corsage was a white, and blue-tinted orchid. Mrs. Roth, mother of the groom, wore a soft-pink, peau de soie gown, which was beaded, and had a slim skirt. She had a matching head-piece; and a corsage.of pink orchids. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Roth spent their wedding trip in Puerto Rico, and San Juan, having travelled via Eastern Air Lines; the bride going away in a pink, wool suit, and a matching coat; with a pink, pill-box hat; and a white orchid corsage. They have taken up residence at 5810 Plan-tagenet Street.
