A certificate in the Founders' Book of the Haifa Community Centre, in the name of the late Simon Lazar, was presented to Mrs. Lazar, who donated $100. Mrs. Chancberg brought in $200 from a group of friends for a Jewish National Fund Golden Book certificate and a certificate in the Founders' Book honoring Mr. and Mrs. S. Dombrovsky, on the occasion of moving to a new home. A luncheon meeting was held at the home of Mrs. T. Perlman, 4120 Dupuis Avenue. Schlomoh and Mary Dalfen Chapter met at the home of Mrs. S. Dalfen, 4774 Meridian Avenue, and Mrs. I. I. Lieff presided at the installation of officers. Schlomoh Avigdor Lieff held a bazaar shower at headquarters, with Mrs. I. Deitcher and Mrs. A. Gordon as hostesses; Rohr-Soloway Chapter, met at the home of Mrs. B. Rohr, 6365 Somerled Avenue; Dvorah Brocha Schwartzbein, _ at headquarters, with Mrs. A. Kuna, as hostess. On November 17, at 8.00 p.m., Young Women's money shower and miniature bazaar takes place at Beth Moishe Synagogue, with Mrs. M.
Salofsky and Mrs. B. Zelniker as conveners on November 18, at 12.30 p.m., Cohen, Caplan, Scharf luncheon is at the home of Mrs. A. Cohen, 20 Spring Grove Crescent; at 2.00 p.m., Senior Ladies' meets at the home of Mrs. S. Sacks, 5359 Clark Street; at 8.00 p.m., Aviv, at the home of Mrs. M. Lewittes, 1942 Clinton Avenue; and Sho-shana at the home of Mrs. M. Goldberg, 640 Westluke Avenue. On November 19, at 8.00 p.m., the public Speaking Group will meet at headquarters, 5404 Park Avenue, will hear Patrick Haddon, as lecturer. Mrs. A. Malina is chairman.
� L'ABORD A PLOUFFE Synagogue met at 555 Levesque Boulevard. Officers are: John Share, president; Ben. Wald, vice-president; Howard Bell, secretary; and Norman Shapiro, treasurer. Guest speakers were: Rabbi S. Hers-cnorn, Chief Rabbi of Montreal; Samuel Gandell, president of the Young Israel Synagogue of Val Royal; and Jules Zikman. The speakers were thanked by the president, Mr. Share.
�HASHOMER HATZAIK Zionist Youth Organization of Montreal: Parents and friends gave a tea, the hostesses being Mesdames H. Taller, L. Bonder, S, Segal. I. Nachshen, N. Goodman, Z. Wo-lanski, G. Zylberstein, A. Roza-lihsky, L. Waycman, S. Weinstein, M. Ffeilich. Proceeds of the occasion went to the scholarship fund of Camp Shomria, in Otty Lake, Perth, Ont., for privileged children. There was an exhibition of art work of Israeli kibbutz children. Miss Malka Goodman, president of the Montreal branch of Hashomer Hatzair, greeted the assembly. A dramatic skit, "From The World .Of Sholem A>icKenv" was presented by David Kalokof-sky, Hyman Stollar, Samuel Blander and Misses Chaya Garfinkle, Z'Hava Sklar. A.
