Rabbi's Talmud Class meets every Thursday at 8:30 P.M. For the next-Saturday evening discussion group meeting on December 13, hosts will be Mr. and Mrs. Sam. Gandell. The Rabbi will speak on Jewish symbols and ceremonials. The Sisterhood heard a book review by Mrs. Judith Clark in honor of Jewish Book Month, and saw a book display. The program was arranged by the chairman, Mrs. Gilbert Mogil. and Mrs. Irving Rosner. A children's variety show is being planned under the direction of Sender Gandell.
World Federation of YMHAs and Jewish Community Centers. The Congress and the National Jewish Welfare Board of the United States are two of the 16 regional bodies of Jewish Community Centers and YM-YWHAs represented in the World Federation. The other 14 members are from Israel, Australia, France, England, Dominican Republic, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Bolivia, and the Argentine.
