The marriage of Miss Gloria Joan Rauch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rauch, 6565 Rose-dale Avenue, to Howard Resin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Resin, 2385 Valade Street, was solemnized at Temple Emanu-El, on Tuesday, June 21, at half-past six o'clock, by Dr. Harry J. Stern, Rabbi, assisted by Cantor Otto Staeren. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her white, silk crepe/empire gown was sleeveless, trimmed with re-embroidered Alencon lace; with a train falling from the shoulders, trimmed with the same lace. Her short veil of tulle illusion was crowned by a tiara of seed-pearl-beads and crystals; and she carried a prayer book with a spray of white orchids, and stephanotis. Miss Linda Rauch was her sister's maid of honour, in a yellow &�& white silk, sleeveless gownj/with a matching pill-box hat; and carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses, rand white miniature carnations. Miss Joyce Resin, and Miss Sherri Resin, sisters of the groom, were bridesmaids; each wearing a yellow, crepe gown, with embroidery on the bodice. They had yellow stephanotis entwined in their hair; and carried bouquets of roses, and white miniature carnations. Gerald Rothman was best man. The ushers were: Charles Aronovitch, Bernard Schneider, Ronald Spunt; cousins of the groom; David Rosentzveig, cousin of the bride; Arthur Felgar, Martin Levitt; and Leonard Rauch, brother of the bride. Lewis Quint, aged four years, godson of the bride, was ring-bearer. Victor McCorry played the wedding processional music; and Miss Madelaine Os-borne was the soloist. Standards of white gladioli, yellow chrysanthemums, and Shasta daisies formed the setting for the ceremony. Three hundred guests were receired. Mrs. Rauch, mother of the bride, wore a sleeveless, yel-

low, ribbon lace gown; cut with a scoop neckline; also a petal hat. Mrs. Resin, mother of the groom, wore a pale-yellow, peau de soie gown, beaded over the bodice; with a flowered headdress. Their flowers were corsages of white, and yellow orchids. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Resin spent their wedding trip in San Francisco, Calif., the bride going away in a yellow, and white, printed, cotton suit; with a corsage of white orchids. They have taken up residence at 7916 Cote St. Luc Road. Here for the marriage were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Rauch, of Fair-lawn, N.J., and Mr. and Mrs. A. Platt, of New York, uncles, and aunts of the bride; and Mrs. Michael Rauch, of Union City, N.J., grandmother of the bride. Mrs. Resin received the Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University. Mr. Resin is a graduate of McGill University, with the Bachelor of Science degree. He is in the final year at McGill University, Faculty of Medicine.

Toronto Chapter 434 held the annual Chanukah meeting, as a gift shower to assist mental patients. Mrs. Ben. Alter presided. Mrs. Myer Cowitz was chairman of the project. A skit, entitled "Mrs. Qvech", ("Mrs. Complainer") written and presented by Mrs. S. Lewis, was introduced by Mrs. Samuel Stork. In the cast were Mesdames S. Lewis, Benjamin Alter and Gordon Mendley.
