Rabbi Stern presided at the luncheon session. Dr. Stanley B. Frost, Dean, Faculty of Divinity, and Dr. Wilfred Smith, Professor of Comparative Religion, Institute of Islamic Studies, McGill University, presided at sessions. Appreciation was expressed by The Rt. Rev. James S. Thomson, past moderator of the United Church of Canada. The invocation was pronounced by Rev. Edgar J. Bailey. Among those whose attended the Institute were Dr. Michael Simon, Consul General of Israel, and Mrs. Simon; and clergy and educators from Ottawa, Ontario, and Lennoxville, Quebec.
