Mrs. A. Rottman, 880 Davenport Road, to Henry Joseph Goldstein, son of Reuben Goldstein, 219 Palraerston Avenue, and the late Mrs. Ann Goldstein, was solemnized in Machzikei Bnai Israel Synagogue, on Sunday, February 8, at half-past five o'clock by Rabbi Erwin Schild, assisted by Cantor Samuel Weinstein. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her period-styled gown was of white organza with a scalloped neckline, embroidered with seed-pearl-beading; lace bodice, with long sleeves; and a full skirt appliqued with lace roses. Her long, scalloped veil was held by a pearl-bead head-piece trimmed with drop crystals, and she carried a prayer book with a mauve

The marriage of Miss Gloria Leibman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Levine, 28 Saranac Boulevard, to Norman Jacobs, son of Mrs. Tillie Jacobs, 524 Rushton Road, was. solemnized on Tuesday, December 16, at six o'clock in Beth Sholom Synagogue, by Rabbi David Monson, assisted by Cantor Henry Wahrman. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a long, white, delustered satin gown, cut with a V-neckline; elbow-length sleeves, trimmed with lace appliques; and a fitted bodice, coming to a "V" at the full skirt, which was gathered in pouffs of appliqued lace. Her fingertip veil was draped from a tiara of seed-pearls-beads and rhinestones; and she carried a white prayer book with white orchids. The matron of honour was Mrs. David Leibman, sister-in-law of the bride. Wearing royal-blue satin, fashioned with a bell-shaped skirt, and a round neckline, she had a rhinestone tiara; and carried Talisman roses, surrounding a white orchid. The bridesmaids were: Misses Marilyn Patch en, Bryna Jacobs, Esther Steinberg, Myrna Harris, Eleanor Charendoff, and Gloria Shore. Each wore a gown of blue and rose-coloured brocade, made with an apron-styled skirt; and round necklines. They had matching crowns; and each carried a bouquet of pink and blue chrysanthemums; Joseph Charendoff was the best man. The ushers were: Norman Garson, Norman S hanker, David Leibman, brother of the bride; Sheldon Weingarten, Howard Stone, and Harold Gould. Owen Charles Leibman, and Robie War-shofsky were the ring-bearers, wearing black dinner suits and carrying white satin cushions. The Synagogue was decorated with pink and white chrysanthemums, carnations, snapdragons, and ferns. Murray Alter and his orchestra played for the reception at the Synagogue. Mrs. Levine, mother of the bride, wore rose-beige lace gown, on Empire lines, with a swing-away jacket effect at the back; and had a matching hat. Mrs. Jacobs, mother of the groom, wore pink organza, appliqued with lace, and gathered at the side, with a rosette of organza; and a matching hat. Each had a mauve orchid wrist bouoruet. Mr. and Mrs, Norman Jacobs spent their honeymoon in Miami Beach, Florida; Havana, Cuba; and New York. The bride travelled in a royal-blue mohair coat, over a
mmpl-liafr suit; with
orchid and stephanotis. Mrs. Bernard Rottman, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honour. Her gown of light blue brocade had a matching sheer bolero, and was made with a balloon-shaped skirt. She carried a bouquet ox red and pink roses and gardenias. The bridesmaids were ^Misses Eleanor and Irene Goldstein, sisters of the groom, and Mrs. Sidney Goldstein, his cousin. Each wore a sleeveless gown of blush-pink peau de soie, designed with a rounded neckline, and a straight skirt, gathered at the hemline with a bow. Each had rhinestone tiara and carried red gardenias and roses. The junior bridesmaids were: Annette Usher and Marsha Batcher, cousins of the bride. Each wore a gown of light blue organdy, which had a scalloped, shawl collar, and full skirt. Their headbands were of pink gardenias; and they carried nosegays of the same flowers. The flower girl was Shelly Usher, aged five years, cousin of the bride. She wore a pink dress identical to that of the bridesmaids; with a matching, heart-shaped bonnet; and carried a basket of rose petals. Bernard Goldstein, brother of the groom, was best man. The ushers were: Bernard Rottman, brother of the bride; Sidney Goldstein, cousin of the
groom; and Arthur Roman. Wesley Usher, cousin of the bride, was ring-bearer. Standards of white chrysanthemums and stephanotis decorated the altar, and the canopy was trimmed with red roses and greenery. A reception followed at the Synagogue. Mrs. Rottman, mother of the bride, wore a sheath of royal-blue chiffon, studded with rhinestone pins at the shoulders; with a chiffon panel forming a trapeze back; and shirred bodice with a V-neck-line in front and back. Her headpiece was made of rose petals in shades of blue, and her corsage was of white gardenias. Receiving for the groom, Mrs. H. Wein-berg,- his grandmother, wore a -gown of�navy-blue Fgcfe which "
a round neckline, inset with white lace; and a full skirt; and her corsage was of red and white roses. Mrs. Ethel Batcher, grandmother of the bride, wore a blue-grey lace and crepe dress, with three-quarter-length sleeves, and flared skirt; and had a short veil held by a matching flowered headband studded with sequins. Her corsage was of red and blue-tinted roses. Bernard Goldstein, brother of the groom, was master of ceremonies. The head table was decorated with red and white roses and stephanotis combined with greenery. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goldstein went on their wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. The bride travelled- -in a light blue wool sheath, caught at the back with a bow; with a blue cashmere coat and matching satin hat; and had a corsage of two mauve orchids with white stephanotis. They will take up residence at 880 Davenport Road. Among the wedding guests were: Mr. and Mrs. S. Win-nick, of Detroit, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. M. Eisen and daughter, Mrs. M. Eisen and daughters, Susan and Joyce, of Buffalo, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. H. Wayne, of Montreal, Quebec; Mr. and Mrs. L. Romberg, of Hamilton, Ont.; and Mr. ana Mrs/Jack Kleiman, of Guatemala City, Guatemala.
