Following the services Mr. and Mrs. Singer were hosts to one hundred and twenty-five guests at a kiddush luncheon in the Synagogue hall. Murray gave a speech; and his grandfather, Mr. Singer, asked the blessing over the challah. Mrs. L. Singer, his grandmother, recited a poem which she wrote for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Bell entertained thirty-five guests at a dinner party, to celebrate the occasion, When Mrs. Bell received in a green and bronze-coloured chiffon dress, made with a round neckline, and full skirt; with bronze-coloured accessories. Mrs. Samuel Gerson, mother of the groom-elect, was in a gray Chan-tilly lace sheath, having a. V-neck-line; with gray accessories. Mrs. Esther Gross, great-grandmother of tfie bride-electj was in a blue silk sheath, made with a V-neck-line, and three-quarter length sleeves, under a white lace shawl. The honouree wore black and white organza, styled with a large, round, white collar; and three-quarter-length sleeves; and full bouffant skirt; with black shantung accessories, and a corsage of white carnations.
