TORONTO MARRIAGES
POMOTOV-GOLDKIND
The marriage of Miss Esta Goldkind, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Goldkind, 142 Dew-bourne Avenue, to David Pomotov, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Pomotov, 318 Richview Avenue, was solemnized at Beth Sholom Synagogue, on June 5, at five o'clock, by Rabbi David Monson and Rabbi A. Langner, assisted by Cantor Henry Wahrman. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an off-white, peau de soie gown, fashioned with a fitted bodice of Aiencon lace, encrusted with seed-pearl-beads and crystals; small sleeves; and a bouffant skirt with a cathedral train extending from a large rose of self-fabric. Her veil of tulle illusion was caught to a coronet of seed-pearl-beads; and she carried a crescent bouquet of pink orchids and lilies-of-the-val-ley. The matron of honour was Mrs. Marvin Ostofsky, sister of the groom. She wore a pale pink chiffon sheath, cut with a high neckline; and three-quarter-length sleeves; and self-fabric roses down the sides of the skirt Miss Ruth Goldkind. twin sister of the bride, was maid of honour in a deep pink, chiffon gown over white satin; designed with a draped bodice: low square neckline; and a full skirt.- Miss Marilyn Goldkind, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Irving Bloomberg were senior bridesmaids, each in a pink organza gown which had a fitted bodice; round neckline; and bouffant skirt accented with bows in the back. The junior bridesmaid, Mar-cia Goldkind, sister of the bride, wore a pink organza gown with fabric roses on the fitted bodice and a full skirt; and streamers at the back from a cowl neckline. All the attendants had matching halos and carried crescents of pink roses and carnations. Seymour Pomotov, brother of the groom, was best man. The ushers were: Marvin Ostofsky, Irving Gold-kind, Sheldon Manly, Herbert Binder, Seymour Seligman, and Seymour Silverberg. The Synagogue was decorated with trees of white roses, chrysanthemums, and greenery; with white bows down the aisle. Mrs. Goldkind, mother of the bride, wore a long, princess gown of pink peau de soie; with over-all Deading; portrait neckline; and short sleeves; with an orchid corsage. Mrs. Pomotov, mother of the groom, wore a long, American Beauty-coloured, gown of peau de soie; with three large roses in the back; and had a white orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. David Pomotov spent their wedding trip in Bermuda. The bride travelled in a blue dress with its own jacket; and a white flowered hat; with a white spray orchid corsage. They will reside on Bathurst Street. Here for the wedding were: Mrs. M. Handelsman, A. Bloomenfeld, uncle of the bride, of Chicago; 111.; Mver Joseph, of Montreal, Que.; Mrs. B. Silverberg, of Loaf Island, N.Y.- and Miss Esther Prytuck, of Renagon, Israel
